Our Story

A Taste of Morocco, Shared With Heart

My name is Ali, and for me, Moroccan food has always been about more than cooking. It is about family, tradition, hospitality, and bringing people together around the same table.

My love for cooking began at home, where I learned from my mother. She taught me the recipes, techniques and traditions that had been passed down to her by her own mother. From one generation to the next, these recipes have carried more than just flavors — they have carried stories, memories and a deep connection to Moroccan culture.

Growing up in Morocco, I learned that the best recipes are not simply written down. They are learned by watching, helping, tasting and sharing. They are passed from mother to daughter, from mother to son, and from one generation to another through the simple joy of preparing food together.

I created Tamraght Cooking Class to share this family tradition with travelers visiting our beautiful region. Here, you won’t just watch someone cook. You will cook, taste, learn and share.

From preparing a traditional tagine and discovering the secrets of Moroccan spices to enjoying a glass of fresh mint tea, every experience is designed to give you a genuine taste of Moroccan culture — just as I learned it at home.
